You're technically awesome. Personable, honest. Your breath smells good. Your shoes are shiny.
You're all around suh-weet.
And certainly, it's important to showcase all of this in the interview. Critical, in fact.
But are you walking in to each and every opportunity with several hours' worth (yes, for real) of homework on the company, the industry, the opportunity, and the players involved under your belt? (And a list of questions that will reflect this?)
The person who gets the job is.
Are you sending out thank you emails the MOMENT you return from the meeting?
The person who gets the job does.
