A little tale about the one who forgot to say thank you.
A quick (and true) story:
Two candidates. Both nearly equally qualified.
Both interview well. Both want the job.
BAD.
Following the interview, one candidate races home, fires up his computer and quickly sends each person he has met with their own (customized) thank you note via email.
(Yes, he did remember to ask each person for a business card.)
The other candidate goes home and plays a video game.
Drinks a beer.
Watches The Biggest Loser.
Which, as it turns out, becomes ironic.
Because guess who gets the job?
You got it. The one who took it to the finish line. And said thank you.
Not a day later. An hour later.
Use your noodle, people.
Thank you matters.
The end.
