We first met Racine in 2024. As a seasoned communications professional, Racine had built a strong career but recognized that her resume and LinkedIn profile needed a refresh to reflect her growth and accomplishments. What prompted you to seek professional support for your resume/job search?
“My resume and LinkedIn profile needed an update to reflect my career growth and accomplishments. Tell us about your new role.
“I am serving as the Director of Communications + Thought Leadership for the Housing Association of Nonprofit Developers. I am responsible for steering all public-facing activities of the organization in the service of three aims: the enhancement of organizational credibility, the shaping of public policy, and the expansion of fundraising and new business opportunities.”
What advice would you give to someone struggling with their own job search?
“Don’t be afraid to get professional help to refine your resume and LinkedIn profile—it can make a huge difference. Focus on clearly articulating your VALUE and accomplishments. Stay patient, remain confident, and remember that the right opportunity will come.”
